Our Group-wide Packaging Targets
REset Resources is the holistic recycling strategy of the Schwarz Group companies.
Kaufland, as a company of the Schwarz Group, is taking the jointly developed REset Resources strategy one step further in the direction of a holistic circular economy strategy. In addition to legal requirements, we also consider other types of materials than just plastic.
As part of the Schwarz Group, we use REset Resources, our globally unique ecosystem, to make the circular economy fit for the future. The five fields of action of REset Resources (REdesign, REduce, REuse, REcollect and REcycle) shape the handling of resources in the long term and promote circular awareness along the entire value chain.
Kaufland has set new goals in this context. As a company of the Schwarz Group, we want to reduce the use of resources, promote reuse, increase circularity and recyclability, secure access to recyclable materials and increase the use of recycled materials. As a holistic circular economy strategy, REset Resources covers all central areas of the circular economy: from packaging and products, textiles to construction, food waste and recyclable materials management to recycling processes.
